Celebrate Filipino Heritage at FPAC This Saturday

The Festival of Philippine Arts & Culture (FPAC) takes place this Saturday at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro, and admission is FREE. It is the longest-running Filipino American festival in Southern California and a day filled with music, dance, food, and community.

Although Pamana Kali will not be presenting this year, many of us will be there to enjoy the festival and connect with friends. My Sheepadoodles, Buffy and Willow, will be taking part in the Pawshion Show, wearing barong-style doggie scarves made in the Philippines.

We are especially excited for the Children’s Pavilion and the Ancestral Pavilion, where families can learn and engage with our cultural traditions. Many of our close friends, respected culture bearers, will also be there to share their art, history, and knowledge.

This is a family-friendly event with many opportunities to participate, learn, and celebrate.
